In Her Words
“I’m happy that my parents allowed me to join the G.O.T. Entrepreneurship Program. The program helps me set my goals and work towards achieving them. It teaches how to respect yourself and others, to be good and responsible leader in my community. I’m able to share my ideas with other girls in the program and in Canada where we can identify problems in our communities. I have learnt how to write business proposals and how I can successfully start and manage a business. I call upon other parents to let their children join empowering groups in their community. I believe we should all join hands together”

“ Boys in the class used to make fun when they saw blood stains on my uniform. I have missed school before due to a lack of menstrual supplies. It has affected my class performance. We had another organization come in and gave us one pad each but the G.O.T. foundation donated a full kit of 4 reusable menstrual pads to each girl at school. I won’t have to buy disposable pads, least for a while. Thanks for supporting me and my school (Katerero Secondary School)”
